While everyone is wanting the Madden team to #FixMaddenFranchise, I for one have been wanting better camera angles in the game. I love broadcast cameras in my sports games and I feel that sports games should give us a variety of them. Madden’s current broadcast camera is terrible and there are camera angles in the presentation replay system they could use that would give us a better experience. Most Madden gamers will look as far back as Madden 25’s broadcast camera as the best version of it, even though it was plagued with frame rate issues. Now that Madden is going into next gen, here’s hope they can up the ante with the camera options for its user base. Here are some examples that can be implemented in the game.

In the end, I believe they should just edit the blimp view that can be “glitched” and make some changes so that it can be the official broadcast camera. I know the Madden devs have camera issues (Madden NFL 21) because if you play THE YARD, the camera don’t even change when you press the command. THE YARD would look crazy in broadcast as well. Whoever is in charge of cameras probably know why it can’t be done at the moment but it’s something they really should look into.
